Jalisco Milksnakes
Lampropeltis polyzona arcifera
Lake Chapala, Jalisco
Like your Milksnakes in dark chocolate but not necessarily milk chocolate? Enter the Lake Chapala, Jalisco locality Jalisco Milksnake or Lampropeltis polyzona arcifera. These classic and highly coveted Milksnakes are highly variable coming in the classic tri-color variety, but occasionally like this girl, the high black version. Occasionally they will pop up completely black and yellow with almost no red.
As is always the case with the Latin Milksnakes, these have been hybridized to hell and back and pure specimens are a rarity. Thankfully at Temporalis Enterprises we have a no funny business policy. My adults hail directly from Aaron Bayer or Jeff Hardwick and are traceable to the original animals brought into the states by Bob Applegate
